Common questions
We start by getting you acquainted with the team, including an office tour, and talk through your dental and health history and any concerns. We take x-rays, and a dentist goes over the findings with you and answers your questions. At your next visit a hygienist checks your gums, teeth and mouth, then cleans and polishes.
Your insurance card, so our business administration team can help you with your insurance savings, and any updates from your physician or major changes in your health. New patient forms can be filled out online before your first appointment.
Yes. We reserve time for emergency appointments, and our schedule lets us see many patients within a day or two. We also provide weekend emergency treatment as a courtesy to our patients. If you are not sure whether it is an emergency, please call and we will help you decide how soon to come in.
It varies with the treatment you need, so Dr. Gonzales goes through it with you in a free consultation. We offer a 5% courtesy for pre-payment, low monthly payments and interest-free financing through CareCredit, and you can use HSA and FSA benefits. If your plan covers orthodontics, we will help you work out the savings.
Dr. Gallagher, who has completed graduate courses in the surgical placement of implants and in implant restorations, from single crowns and bridges to implant-supported dentures. He evaluates each candidate in a free one-on-one consultation, and uses bone grafting and sinus lifts where the bone needs it.
Two phases. First, tensing: K7 EMG scans and gentle electrical stimulation find the most comfortable position for your jaw and facial muscles. Then a custom orthotic, worn continuously for two weeks at first. At the next appointment patients typically report a 40 to 60% improvement in their symptoms.
Often, yes. Bioclear fills black triangles near the gum line with composite shaped in special matrices, and most treatments take a single visit. It can also close small gaps and repair minor chips.
Sinsational Smile® takes about 20 minutes in the office and suits sensitive teeth. KöR combines in-office and at-home deep bleaching for long-lasting results. Opalescence® is prescription-strength whitening you use at home. We check any old fillings or crowns first, because whitening only works on natural enamel.
